Hi guys! Welcome to my website. My name is Chris and I’m an IT Professional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been obsessed with technology since I was a wee lad. It all started with an obsession with video games and over time developed into a love and respect for all aspects of tech. Eventually I started to realize that I was actually pretty good and troubleshooting problems and finding solutions. I toyed with the idea of starting a career in IT but I was never able to fully commit to completing school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is until 2020. Between a mix of personally hitting rock bottom and the struggles of the job market due to Covid, I finally decided to go back to school and finish my degree. I jumped back in feet first in the spring semester of 2021 and finished my AAS IT at WVUP in December. From there I decided that I wasn’t satisfied and that I would like to further my education at WGU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am currently in the midst of grinding out my BS in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance. Due to my previous experience and education in IT I was able to pass my first 4 courses in a week. Yes, you read that right! Two of the courses were the certification exams for Comptia A+, which was a huge accomplishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through my course schedule I will also be adding Project+, Network+, Security+, Pentest+, ITIL, ECES, CCSP and SSCP very quickly. My current goal is to complete this degree by the end of June and then push for my MS. I am currently thinking that I may do the BS IT\/MS IT Management combo degree that WGU will be offering starting in June. I also plan to get some AWS certifications in the near future as well to continue my education and gain more cloud knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
